Dies R Us - Four in One card

Hello, my crafty friends!  It is the new year and the Christmas decorations have been taken down and the Christmas card list has been updated for next year.  Now it is time to get down to some serious crafting. I'm Barbara, we have been lucky to spend the winters in a warmer climate, Florida. That means I need a second craft room.  I bring with me a lot of stuff that I need and have a lot here too.  What I didn't bring, is my stash of cards that I like to have on hand to mail out to friends and family.

I set out to make one style card that I can put different sentiments on, to full up my stash. If you are interested, here is my card.

I cut a bunch of daisies in white card stock with the die from Penny Black called Bashful.
Then I colored them while still in the card stock. It makes it easier to do and is very fast.
Next, I cut several of these Antique Frames by Penny Black in colors that would coordinate with the cards that I am making.
Add a little ink around the edges to add dimension to the card.
Of course, some dots to make them fun.

All of these cards were made pieces that were cut before, now I just adhered the daisy to the front and added a different sentiment to each one.  The sentiments are from the stamp set by Gina K designs called Fabulous Frames.
Now I have a few cards ready to send out as needed. Makes me feel happy.
You can find the dies that I used on these cards in the Dies R Us store.

currently out of stock, but you could use any rectangle frame.

The Penny Black Bashful die is no longer available.  I think that this one would look great too.

Another Power and Spark Map

Having fun with these maps and this one was so special, I just had to do one more.

I saw this one done by Cheryl, and the dangling heart really got my interest.
What can I do and make a card like that?

I started out with some interesting papers from Recollections.  It was 12 x 12 scrapbook paper that I cut down to size.  The papers match and have some sparkles in them.  I cut the banners with a fishtail and placed them on a white card base to match the Map.  Next, I die cut a heart from Impression Obcession in white and placed it on the banners.  Using the stamp set from Power Poppy called Succulent Singles, I stamped several of them and colored them with Distress Markers.  Evergreen Bough, Peacock Feathers, and Peeled Paint.  The fussy cut them out.  I decided on the three that I wanted to use on my card and put them on the heart with foam adhesive. The fun part was handing the one with some twine that I had with a little bow.  So cute!  I put some multi-porpose glue on my finger and ran the twine thru it.  That made it stick to my card front. I used the sentiment from the same stamp set and heat embossed it with platimumn EP. I put Wink of Stell all over the succlents and added some clear Droplets for Kat Scrappiness.
I will be entering this in the Power and Spark Map it challenge.
Thanks for stopping in.  I really appreciate your comments, but you should try with challenge.  It is too much fun.

Time sure flies when you are having fun.  It is the Second Birthday/Anniversary over at
I think that there is nothing like a bunch of fun balloons to celebrate a birthday or anniversary and I was inspired by the balloons here.
Here is my card.

I have started to include objects in my photographs and in this picture, you see a sign.  It says This is my Happy Place.  That will go on the wall in my craft room.
The sea shells are there so that you know I am in Florida.
